In July 2008, I was on the school swim team, the tennis club, the badminton club, and the athletics club, and was training for the hockey team and the cheer team. In the autumn of 2008, I decided to take extra courses in political theory and Latin, which were on the afternoons after school that I previously had sports. I had to drop out of swimming, tennis, athletics, hockey, and cheerleading. Between 2008 and 2010, I simply stopped caring about my fitness; I had good genes, I'd look fine, I'd be able to go back to sports any time. I didn't bother to do anything fitness-related in my own time.
In the summer of 2011, I finished my political theory course, and went back to the tryouts for hockey, tennis, and cheerleading. I didn't make any of them. Between 2008 and 2011, I'd lost my muscle, coordination, technique, motivation, everything. I consulted my gym's trainers, and it was discovered that, although I was still the same dress size as I had been in 2008, I was now far more fat and far less muscle.
In being a fitness blog, I've already attracted a few likes and reblogs from pro-ana blogs. It needs said: I don't support or condone pro-ana or self-starvation. If I had an eating disorder, I'd see a psych. I had selective as a child, when I was about 8-11, but I got therapy and got rid of it. I encourage everyone trying to live with eating disorders to do the same.
